Welcome to my writings

Consider this question:

Have you wondered where everything Victor wrote for the the past 10 years has gone?

A. Yes, tell me more.

B. No.If you chose A, keep reading below the lines. If you chose B, how’d you find this website?

This website is dedicated to documenting my writing journey. I don’t intend to publish any of these, but I do want to document this because I feel like it’s a shame that no one reads these. Art languishes in hidden corners and the least I could do is put it online.

  • Dawn and Bryce (2025)

Once again inspired by my wife and her personal life, I imagined a breakup story but from the perspective of a couple of friends. As we know, sometimes, a friend breakup is even harder than a romance breakup.

  • Houston (2025)

This one took a bit of brainstorming. My goal for my previous work was to diversify the types of characters I wrote. For this one, I went back to what I was familiar with: a road trip story about grieving. An impossible situation: what if a death in the family arrived in the middle of

  • I was inspired by my wife and her sister and writing about actual Asian things. Previously, I only wrote about white people, but now I decided to stick to what I knew: NYC, Chinatown, and Asian women. The story came about from an idea I had to just talk about an Asian women, her sister,

  • Mr. Linney (2023)

I thought of this one after seeing Armageddon Time (2022). Spoilers to follow. After a year, I’ve revisited this story. For fun, I let an AI summarizer broken down the themes and summary and I forgot how dark this one got. I seem to have a running throughline of broken familial bonds and a desire

  • From Earth to Earth (2023)

This one spilled out of me fast. The Little Miss Sunshine influence is obvious. I disciplined myself into writing a <100 page story. Minot, ND got way out of hand (although I am very proud of it!) and I wanted to keep this one very focused. The basic building blocks fell into place quite quickly,

  • Til It’s Over (2022)

This was something I never intended to share. But the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to share it because this was the point of the website after all. Til It’s Over is a personal story, heavily inspired by true events. It’s basically an autobiography. It was inspired by a meeting I

  • (Spoilers conclude! Episodes 7-9 below!) Well, if I remember anything about this story, it’s the conclusion. I had planned the ending for this in 2018 and I stuck to it, for better or for worse. I sure do like depressing endings with lots of death, don’t I? 2016: John’s story ends when he goes to

  • (The spoilers shall continue! Episodes 4-6 are below) My memory is beginning to get hazy. I’m realizing now as I recall details that I definitely indulged myself in details a bit. I think the character work is good, but I probably could have condensed this into a 2 hour movie. 2016: the journey continues with

  • Minot, ND was a massive labor of love that inspired me to create this website. I envision this show as a Hulu miniseries. It’s written as 9 episodes of television. The thing is, the most that anyone ever read was 1 episode. No one found out what happened to the main characters or the mystery

  • The Third Roommate was a play I cranked out in a short time frame. And honestly, I think it’s great. I had really developed a strong bond with my friends at Gotham Writers from 2016-2020. We always did the Write In most Fridays (boy, do I miss those because they haven’t been back in person
